Abstract:
A switching power supply circuit and method for controlling the switching power supply circuit. The switching power supply circuit comprises a power supply (U), a first switching device (Q1), a second switching device (Q2), an inductor (L), a capacitor (C) and a controller (10). One end of the inductor is connected to a positive electrode of the power supply via the first switching device, and the other end is connected to a negative electrode of the power supply via the capacitor. The inductor is connected to a common connection terminal of the first switching device via the second switching device and the negative electrode of the power supply. The controller is configured to output a pulse width modulation signal to the first switching device and the second switching device to control work states of the first switching device and the second switching device. The controller is also configured to detect input voltages of two ends of the power supply and adjust a period of the pulse width modulation signal according to the input voltages. The switching power supply circuit reduces a size of the inductor and improves work efficiency of power supply conversion.
