Abstract:
The invention concerns a switching valve for controlling a mass flow in a cold or hot circuit, comprising: a valve housing (12) which has a feed opening (14) and a discharge opening (15); a valve piston (27) which has a valve-closure member (26) directed towards the discharge opening (15) and which, in a closed position, abuts a valve seat (24) of a through-bore (23) between the feed opening (14) and the discharge opening (15); a pilot valve (31) which is disposed opposite the valve-closure member (26) and has a pilot bore (32) in the valve piston (27), which bore opens into the through-bore (23) and traverses the valve piston (27); a path-generating device (21) which has an actuatable ram (35) accommodating a closure member (33) which closes the pilot bore (32) and, with the closure member (33), can be moved into an opening position which opens the pilot bore (32); and a bypass duct (48) which is formed between the feed opening (14) and the pilot bore (32). Provided between the ram (35) and the valve piston (27) is at least one connection element (51) which forcibly transfers at least some of the stroke movement of the ram (35) onto the valve piston (27).
