Abstract:
A planetary gear reduction mechanism (16) is provided within a housing (12) that configures the disclosed swiveling device (8), and said planetary gear reduction mechanism (16) is configured from a sun gear (17), a plurality of planet gears (18), and a carrier (19). Also, a lubricating oil (L) that lubricates the planetary gear reduction mechanism (16) is stored within the housing (12). A doughnut-shaped guide member (38) that covers the meshing section between the sun gear (17) and the planetary gears (18) and that receives and leads to a planetary gear bearing (20) the lubricating oil (L) that spatters from the meshing section is provided at a position above the planetary gear reduction mechanism (16). As a result, lubricating oil (L) that spatters from the meshing section of the sun gear (17) and the planetary gears (18) is efficiently led to the planetary gear bearing (20) via the doughnut-shaped guide member (38).
