Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to provide a sword guard viewing implement which is dynamic and exciting and has a practical aspect, namely making it possible to display the time, by enabling a sword guard viewing tool to display the time.
A sword guard viewing implement 1 is provided with: a sword guard 2 for a Japanese sword, having a stem hole 9 in the center; a clock device 13 in which a pointer spindle portion 18 of a clock movement 14 is passed through the stem hole 9, and in which a pointer 15 for displaying the time is attached to the pointer spindle portion 18; and a sword guard orientation regulating means 8 for causing the stem hole 9 to correspond to the pointer spindle portion 18, with the longitudinal direction of the stem hole 9 in the vertical direction of the sword guard viewing implement.
