Abstract:

The present invention includes a synchronizing ring (24) that synchronizes the rotation of a transmission gear (12) and the rotation of a clutch hub (21). The synchronizing ring (24) includes: an annular ring main body; an axial direction protruding part, which protrudes from the ring main body in the axial direction toward the clutch hub (21) so as to set the size of the axial clearance formed between the ring main body and the clutch hub (21) in the axial direction; and a radial direction protruding part, which protrudes from the ring main body in the radial direction toward the clutch hub (21) so as to set the size of the radial clearance formed between the ring main body and the clutch hub (21) in the radial direction, which intersects the axial direction. The ring main body, the axial direction protruding part, and the radial direction protruding part are formed integrally by a metal stamping process. Thus, it is possible to provide a technology that is effective in reducing the cost associated with the manufacture of a synchronizing ring in a synchronization device for a manual transmission of a vehicle, while maintaining an appropriate clearance between the mutually opposing synchronizing ring and clutch hub.
