Abstract:
In order to exhibit sufficient performance of a communications system using Massive-MIMO, a mobile station device is provided that controls the transmission direction of a transmission beam for synchronization signals by using beamforming using a plurality of antenna elements, and sends synchronization signals. The mobile station device is characterized by comprising: a synchronization signal processing unit (62) that generates synchronization signals including identification information for the mobile station device and changes, at prescribed time intervals, the beamforming weight for the synchronization signals; and a transmission unit (63) that sends the synchronization signals generated in accordance with each beamforming weight, by using an uplink.
