Abstract:
A synchronization method for physical layer security in visible light communication is disclosed. According to one aspect of the present embodiment, provided is the synchronization method for physical layer security in visible light communication, comprising a step of transmitting a preamble sequence, wherein the preamble sequence includes a plurality of repetitions of a fast locking pattern (FLP) used for clock synchronization and a topology dependent pattern (TDP) used for identifying a plurality of VLC topologies, the VLC topologies include an unrestricted broadcast topology and a restricted broadcast topology, a TDP for the unrestricted broadcast topology is a pre-defined 15-bit pattern known to a plurality of unspecified receivers, and a TDP for the restricted broadcast topology is a 15-bit pattern known only to receivers belonging to a specific group.
