Title:
SYNCHRONIZATION, SCHEDULING, NETWORK MANAGEMENT AND FREQUENCY ASSIGNMENT METHOD OF A LAYERED WIRELESS ACCESS SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2010/000110
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A synchronization method of a layered wireless access system is disclosed in the present invention. The method is applied in the layered wireless access system including an access point management unit and an access point attached to the access point management unit located in an access layer. The access point management unit has a timing server; the access point has a timing client-side; the timing server generates timing information and distributes it to the timing client-side of each attached access point; and the timing client-side recovers the timing information to be used as the local timing reference signal. As above, it is possible to realize clock synchronization between the access point management unit and the access point and to ensure normal operate of system. Methods of network management, scheduling, frequency assignment and flow control and so on based on a layered wireless access system are further provided in the present invention.
