Abstract:
This synchronous electric motor control device that controls operations of a synchronous electric motor has: a control unit that outputs a voltage command value corresponding to a speed command value; and an inverter that supplies, in accordance with the voltage command value, a direct current voltage to the synchronous electric motor. The control unit has start-up control mode for starting up the synchronous electric motor, and normal control mode for accelerating the rotation speed of the synchronous electric motor to a fixed speed after starting up the synchronous electric motor, and in the start-up control mode, voltage command values having voltage vector directions that are different from each other are outputted a plurality of times to the inverter.
