Abstract:
A synchronous generator is provided with a rotor pair (10), which is configured by stacking a first and second rotor core (16a, 16b) configured from a magnetic body in the axial direction, and a stator pair (20), which covers the rotor pair (10) from the outside in the radial direction. The first and second protruding magnetic poles (12a, 12b) that protrude radially outward from outer peripheral surfaces of the first and second rotor cores (16a, 16b) are arranged so that there are gaps therebetween in the circumferential direction. The first and second rotor core (16a, 16b) are arranged so that axially adjacent protruding magnetic poles (12a, 12b) are offset in the circumferential direction. The stator pair (20) is provided with: stator cores (22a, 22b) which have a static magnetic field which is formed by an outer ring member upon which a plurality of fixed protrusions are arranged and protrude inward in a radial direction from the inside edge of said stator pair (20) and surround the rotor pair (10) from the outside in the radial direction; and an armature winding, which is wound around each fixed protrusion in the radial direction.
