Abstract:
A synchronous machine starting device comprises an induction voltage operating section (61) for calculating an induction voltage induced in the armature of a synchronous machine based on an estimated phase indicating the rotor position, an estimated rotational speed of the rotor, an AC voltage signal and an AC current signal and outputting an induction voltage signal indicating the calculated induction voltage, a selecting section (SEL) for selecting and outputting either one of an induction voltage signal received from the induction voltage operating section (61) or an AC voltage signal received from an AC voltage detecting section, and a feedback operating section (34) for calculating the error of the estimated phase based on the induction voltage signal or the AC voltage signal received from the selecting section (SEL), calculating an estimated phase and an estimated rotational speed based on the calculated phase error, outputting a speed signal indicating the estimated rotational speed thus calculated to the induction voltage operating section (61) and outputting a position signal indicating the estimated phase thus calculated to a power conversion control section (19) and the induction voltage operating section (61).
