Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for synthesizing an N-alkylaminophenyl alkyl ether, wherein the N-alkylaminophenyl alkyl ether is prepared by subjecting a nitrophenyl alkyl ether to hydrogenation reduction and alkylation, or wherein same may also be prepared by directly subjecting an aminophenyl alkyl ether to alkylation. Further disclosed is the use of the N-alkylaminophenyl alkyl ether as a gasoline additive, especially as a gasoline antiknock agent. Adding 0.1-5.0% of the gasoline antiknock agent of the present invention to gasoline can significantly increase the octane number of the gasoline and reduce knocking caused by the combustion of the gasoline in an engine.
