Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing: a synthetic fiber treatment agent configured so that the heat resistance and the storage stability of the treatment agent can be improved; and a synthetic fiber to which the treatment agent has been applied. This synthetic fiber treatment agent contains: a smoothing agent (A); a non-ionic surfactant (B); an ionic surfactant (C) containing a phosphoester compound (C1); and an alcohol compound (D). The phosphoester compound (C1) includes at least one selected from phosphoesters P1, P2, P3, and P4 which are respectively represented by prescribed chemical formulas. When the total of p nuclear NMR integration ratios attributed to phosphoesters P1 through P4 is 100%, the p nuclear NMR integration ratio attributed to phosphoester P1 is 7% or less.
