Abstract:
Provided is a synthetic fiber treatment agent which can improve the performance of cleaning off of tar attached to a roller during use; and others. The present invention is a synthetic fiber treatment agent comprising a smoothing agent (A), a nonionic surfactant (B), and a ionic surfactant (C) comprising an organosulfonic acid compound (C1) having one sulfo group in the molecule thereof and an organosulfonic acid compound (C2) having two or more sulfo groups in the molecule thereof, the synthetic fiber treatment agent being characterized in that the ratio of the mass of the organosulfonic acid compound (C1) to the mass of the organosulfonic acid compound (C2), i.e., C1/C2, is 99/1 to 80/20, and the content of potassium detected from an non-volatile fraction of the synthetic fiber treatment agent by an ICP emission spectrometry is 0.1 ppm to 300 ppm inclusive.
