Abstract:
A method for preparing a synthetic lawn, comprising the following steps: placing warps on the warp beam of a loom, placing wefts on the loom in a direction perpendicular to the warps, and placing synthetic grass yarns on a yarn creel behind the loom; weaving a backing fabric, wherein the synthetic grass yarns are woven into the backing fabric in a mode parallel to the warps; using a jacquard apparatus of the loom to perform jacquard and grass-weaving on the synthetic grass yarns; each synthetic grass yarn is woven in the backing fabric for 2 to 10 rounds, and then the synthetic grass yarn emerges to form a tuft of grass, the height of the grass tufts is set to 10-70 mm; 6-12 warps are placed between any two adjacent tufts of grass, and among vertically arranged grass tufts, 3-8 wefts are placed between any two adjacent tufts of grass. The preparation method is simple and easily operable, capable of improving the pullout force of artificial turf, and convenient for industrial production. Synthetic lawns made using the present method have the advantages of being environmentally friendly, widely applicable, and highly stable.
