Abstract:
Provided is a synthetic resin bottle which can exhibit a reduced-pressure absorbing function sufficiently by the recessed deformation of a bottom wall and which effectively suppresses the progress of a fold, to be formed by the recessed deformation, toward the circumferential edge, thereby to retain a self-standing property sufficiently and to create a bottle wall structure so as to be able to recover sufficiently from the recessed and deformed state. A major means for resolving the problems with the bottom wall structure arranges such a recessed portion in the bottom face of the bottom as is formed by recessing the bottom wall inward of the bottle so that the bottom wall may be able to be recessed and deformed with respect to the inner circumferential end of a grounding portion circumferentially formed in the circumferential edge. The recessed portion includes a recessed circumferential wall portion formed so circumferentially in the circumferential edge as to rise from the vicinity of the inner circumferential end of the grounding portion, a recessed portion recessed in a dome shape at the central portion, and an inverted wall portion of a flat ring shape formed in an invertible manner by connecting the upper end of the recessed circumferential wall portion and the base end of the recessed portion. Moreover, a circumferential rib wall portion for functioning as a circumferential rib is arranged at the connecting portion between the upper end of the recessed circumferential wall portion and the inverted wall portion.
