Abstract:

In the present invention, a synthetic resin container lid (2) is improved so that the entire container lid (2) is thoroughly and easily detached from a mouth-and-neck portion of a container, wherein the synthetic resin container lid has a shape that includes: a body (4) to be attached to the mouth-and-neck portion (56) of the container by way of an engaging means (26) engaging with an engaged means (58) of the mouth-and-neck portion (56); and an upper lid (6) that is coupled to the body (4) via a hinge means (32). The depth of an annular or arc-shaped groove (46) that extends in the circumferential direction and that is formed in a hanging wall (10) of the body (4) fluctuates in the axial direction as necessary, and a line (53) that can be broken in the circumferential direction and that extends and is continuous in the circumferential direction along the bottom edge of the groove (46) in the axial direction in at least a second break region (B) and a third break region (C) is formed in the hanging wall (10).
