Abstract:
Provided are a synthetic resin container, a preform, and a method for producing a synthetic resin container in which it is possible to inhibit accumulation of carbon dioxide gas between a substrate layer and an outer layer of the container, the synthetic resin container accommodating contents that include the carbon dioxide gas. This synthetic resin container (1) has an opening part (2), a barrel part (3) that connects to the lower end of the opening part (2) and forms an accommodating space for contents that include carbon dioxide gas, and a bottom part (4) that closes the lower end of the barrel part, wherein the synthetic resin container (1) is characterized in that: the barrel part (3) is formed by stretch-blow-molding a substrate layer (5a) together with an outer layer (5b) that is disposed radially outward from the substrate layer (5a) and has one or a plurality of resin layers; and the resin layers constituting the substrate layer (5a) and the outer layer (5b) are such that the coefficient of transmission of carbon dioxide gas in a radially outward resin layer that is adjacent in a thickness direction is greater than that in a radially inward resin layer.
