Abstract:

A synthetic resin preform (1) has a cylindrical mouth part (11) provided with a male screw (11b) on an outer peripheral surface (11a) thereof, a cylindrical barrel part (12) being continuous with the mouth part (11), and a bottom part (13) blocking a lower end of the barrel part (12) and is molded into a container (40) having a prescribed shape by blow molding. The synthetic resin preform (1) is characterized by being provided with a retaining surface (14) between the mouth part (11) and the barrel part (12), the retaining surface (14) being continuous with the outer peripheral surface (11a) of the mouth part (11) and extending inward in a radial direction with respect to the outer peripheral surface (11a). A container (50) with a content is obtained by filling the container (40) with a content and blocking the mouth part (11) with a cap (43), the container (40) being obtained by blow-molding the preform (1).
