Abstract:

Provided is an improved synthetic resin spout plug (2) which is connected to a discharge opening in a container (4). When the container is being disposed of, the provided spout plug does not make it difficult to tear a ring-shaped score (38) formed in a ring-shaped flange wall (10). Said ring-shaped score (38) is resistant to damage even if the container falls, subjecting the spout plug to a large impact. The ring-shaped score is also resistant to damage even if ultrasonic welding is used to weld the spout plug to the container. On the inner surface of the ring-shaped flange wall, a ring-shaped additional score (40, 42) is provided next to the ring-shaped score (38) radially outwards, radially inwards, or both.
