Abstract:
A synthetic resin supplying apparatus applicable to a die wheel revolving at
an increased speed. A cutter and retaining member of cutter unit are fitted to
an air cylinder so as to provide a cutter unit capable of forward and backward movement
in the direction of turning radius. At the time of stable discharge of molten resin
through an extrusion nozzle, the air cylinder is brought into a state of extension
to thereby move the cutter to a forward movement position, thereby attaining
cutting of the molten resin. At the time of unstable discharge of molten resin
through an extruder, in order to avoid contact of the cutter with the molten resin,
the air cylinder is brought into a state of contraction to thereby attain disposition
at a backward movement position. Thus, even when the cutter wheel is revolved,
there can be avoided any contact of the cutter with the molten resin.
