Abstract:
[Problem] To effectively prevent siphoning. [Solution] A syringe pump configured so that the piston (1a) of a syringe injector (1) that is mounted in a syringe-mounting section (11) is pressed by a pressing section (13) to deliver a liquid inside the syringe (1b) of the syringe injector (1) into a flexible infusion tube (2) that is connected to the tip of the syringe (1b) is equipped with: malfunction-detecting sections (a1-a3) for detecting a malfunction and outputting a detection signal therefor; and a valve device (a4) for closing the infusion tube (2) by pressing and deforming same from the outside. The syringe pump is configured so as to close the valve device (a4) when there is a detection signal from a malfunction-detecting section (a1-a3).
