Abstract:
Provided is a syringe storage container such that scratches on the outer peripheral surface of a syringe are unlikely to occur even when transporting a plurality of empty medicine loading syringes that are hung and stored in the syringe storage container. The storage container (10) stores a plurality of syringes (26) for loading with medicine, each syringe having a cap (28) on a tip part and a flange (30) on a base end part, the container comprising: a container body (12) comprising an opening part which is surrounded by the upper end of peripheral wall parts that are formed continuously around a bottom part and extend upwards and a ledge (14) provided on the peripheral wall parts; and a nest plate (16) which is mounted on the ledge (14) and has a plurality of aligned receiving cylinders (18) penetrating therethrough, the syringes (26) being detachably inserted into the receiving cylinders (18) and hanging therefrom by the flanges (30) being engaged therewith. A positioning plate (17), which is disposed between the nest plate (16) and the bottom part, has receiving holes (17b) provided thereon facing the receiving cylinders (18), such that when the syringes (26) are hung on the receiving cylinders (18), the caps (28) thereof can be inserted through the receiving holes (17b). When the cap (28) of a syringe (26) hung on a receiving cylinder (18) contacts the inner wall of the respective receiving hole (17b), the syringe (26) and the lower end part of the inner wall of the receiving cylinder (18) do not come into contact.
