Title:
SYSTEM FOR ACTIVELY BLOCKING SUNLIGHT BY USING PHOTOELECTRIC EFFECT AND LIQUID CRYSTAL
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2019/098721
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present application relates to a light blocking system. More specifically, the present application provides a light blocking system comprising: one or more light focusing portions for focusing light; photogeneration portions contacting the light focusing portions, respectively, each photogeneration portion comprising one or more light reflection preventing members, a first semiconductor layer contacting the light reflection preventing members so as to form an electric current on the basis of light that is focused by the light focusing portions and then transferred through the light reflection preventing members, a second semiconductor layer contacting the first semiconductor layer, a first photogeneration electrode arranged between the light reflection preventing members so as to contact the first semiconductor layer, and a second photogeneration electrode contacting the second semiconductor layer; a first electrode electrically connected to the first photogeneration electrode; a second electrode electrically connected to the second photogeneration electrode; and a transmittance changing layer arranged between the first electrode and the second electrode such that the transmittance thereof is changed by a power supply based on the electric current transferred from the first photogeneration electrode or the second photogeneration electrode.
