This USB memory comprises: a storing means; a secret-sharing processing means; and an identification authentication information acquisition means. The secret-sharing processing means includes a secret-sharing processing function including a program for forming/executing Windows OS and a program for executing a secret-sharing processing, and a program for erasing/recovering a secret-sharing file. The USB memory includes: a secret-sharing processing function which, by means of the program for executing Windows OS and the program for executing the secret-sharing processing, refers to and acquires environment information of a personal computer required to execute the programs, and executes, in the USB memory, data secret-sharing processing of a data file stored in a storing means in the USB memory; a function for transmission of the secret-sharing file to various external storages, and for erasure and recovery of the secret-sharing file; and a secret-sharing shortcut processing function.
