Abstract:
The present invention relates to an analysis system with which it is possible to obtain analysis results rapidly, while making it possible for an assay sample to be transferred online. Further, provided is an analysis system with which assay samples supplied from two or more sites can be analyzed using a single analyzing device, by means of a configuration in which the assay sample transfer pathways do not include components having a dead volume, such as pumps and valves. The present invention relates to an analysis system which is provided with two or more sample-specific transfer means, and in which the sample transfer pathway of each sample-specific transfer means is connected to a plasma torch of a common analyzing means comprising an analyzing device employing inductively coupled plasma or microwave plasma, wherein: each sample transfer pathway includes a main flow path, a make-up gas supply line and a drain flow path; the plasma torch includes, in substantially the center thereof, a sample introduction pipe through which the atomized assay sample is introduced; and the internal diameter of the drain flow path is at least equal to the internal diameter of the inlet part of the plasma torch sample introduction pipe.
