Abstract:
A system for assaying an in vivo component comprising: a contact member to be in contact with the skin of a living body; a device for a treatment of accelerating skin penetration to form a tissue fluid-extraction site on the basis of the position of the contact member in the state where the contact member has been preliminarily in contact with the skin; a collection member for collecting a tissue fluid; a collection member-holding member having such a constitution as holding the collection member and ensuring the adhesion of the collection member to the tissue fluid-extraction site on the basis of the position of the contact member being in contact with the skin; and an assay device for assaying a component contained in the tissue fluid that is collected by the collection member, wherein at least either the contact member or the collection member-holding member can be separated from the skin in the state where the collection member is adhered to the tissue fluid-extraction site.
