Abstract:
Provided are a system for automatically changing a password and a method for automatically changing a password of a password authentication device by using the same. The system for automatically changing a password according to the present invention comprises: a control unit for generating a plurality of one-time use passwords to be used sequentially by applying an inputted parameter to a password generation program, and determining whether the inputted password matches the one-time use password for the current order when the password is inputted to authenticate the inputted password; an input unit for inputting the parameter and the password to the control unit; and an operation unit operated according to a control signal generated when the control unit authenticates the password, wherein the parameters include fixed parameters divided according to each operation unit and variable parameters varied by a user.
