Abstract:
The present invention relates to a system for automatically removing dust from books, and to a system for automatically removing dust from books which removes dust from all six surfaces of a book using a fewer number of brushes, which generates less noise during the collection and removal of the dust, and which has good mobility. The system for automatically removing dust from books according to the present invention comprises: a transfer device for transferring books in a linear direction; a side brush for removing dust from a first side surface of the book being transferred; an upper brush for removing dust from the upper surface of the book being transferred; a lower brush for removing dust from the lower surface of the book being transferred; a position sensor for sensing whether or not the book being transferred has reached a preset position, and stopping the operation of the transfer device if the book is sensed as having reached the preset position; and a side movable brush which moves by a position change driving device to remove dust from second to fourth side surfaces when the transfer of the book has been stopped by the position sensor.
