Abstract:
A system capable of displaying a real society and a virtual space in association, with reality. An information providing system (1) comprises an information providing terminal (3) which input-photographs information relating to a real space into the terminal (3) and transmits information relating to the position of the terminal (3) and the direction of the terminal (3) to a server (5), and the server (5) which grasps, from the received information relating to the position and direction of the terminal (3), objects included in the real space photographed by the terminal (3), selectively reads a virtual display corresponding to the objects from a database (53), and transmits the virtual display to the terminal (3). Thus, the terminal (3) displays virtual display information superimposed on the photographed real space.
