Abstract:
Disclosed, according to one embodiment of the present invention, is a system for charging an aerosol generation device, the system comprising an aerosol generation device and an external power supply device. The aerosol generation device comprises: a heater for emitting heat by means of resistance when a current is applied thereto; a power storage part for supplying power to the heater; and a control part for controlling the heater. The external power supply device comprises: a case; a charge receiving part rotatably provided to the case and detachably receiving the aerosol generation device; an auxiliary power storage device for storing power to be transferred to the aerosol generation device; and an auxiliary power supply device for controlling the auxiliary power storage device and thereby supplying power to the aerosol generation device. The aerosol generation device may be driven in a mode among a charging mode, a cleaning mode, a preheating mode and a smoking mode according to the position in which the aerosol generation device is received in the charge receiving part.
