1. | A system for connecting and fixing modular elements for shelvings with a plurality of shelves, ladders and furni ture in general, characterized in the modules that may be assembled: a plurality of shelves of furniture (1) or ladder steps, with a hollow metal, wood or plastic, structure, provid ed with orthogonal (2) or incline (3) passingthrough holes ; a plurality of hollow uprights (4) provided with ortho gonal (2') or incline (3') housings arranged in their own structure, for the insertion of said shelves (1); a plurality of pins (5), possibly provided with orthogonal end grasping means (6) for the manoeuvrability thereof, and that may be inserted, through cavity (7) of said uprights (4), into the passingthrough holes (2,3) of shelves (1), in turn arranged in housings (2', 3') so as to determine, with their contrast standstill along the in ternal walls of said cavities (7), a total impossibility of pulling out, thus being also a means for a stable as sembling (that may become a disassembling by manual pulling out) by means of said grasping elements (6). |
2. | A system according to claim 1, characterized in grasping means of pins (5) consisting of rings or similar. |
3. | A system according to claim 1, characterized in that said pins (5) have orthogonal lateral facets (8,9) for de termining the angular insertion thereof into the corre sponding holes (2,3) and for transversely placing said or thogonal grasping means (6) into said cavities (7). |
The present invention arises from the need of assembling quickly and easily furniture and other structure obtained by the installation of portable modular elements that can be stored with minimum encumbrance, and with the possibility of eventual disassembling and/or change.
Until now, the multiple shelves of cupboards, shelvings, bookcases and the steps of portable ladders have been connected by means of screws, joints, nails, glue or other, with the consequent need of intervention of skilled labour and/or long working times.
It is the aim of the present invention to completely solve above mentioned needs by means of a system comprising a plurality of pins, possibly of different structure and di- mensions, that may be manually inserted in corresponding passing-through holes realized in the structure of the shelves, inserted and fixed in contrast in suitable hous- ings provided on the uprights, so as to allow a quick assembling and disassembling thereof but, in the same time, assure a safe, stable and resistant connection of the parts.
The advantages of the present invention have already been mentioned.
The present invention will be described more in detail hereinbelow relating to the enclose drawings in which an embodiment is shown.
Figure 1 shows an axonometric, transparency view of a variant of the system with two shelves connected to one upright.
Figure 2 shows an exploded view of the elements of the system according to the present invention.
Figure 3 shows a shelf applied to the corner of an upright.
Figure 4 shows an axonometric, transparency view of a variant of the system according to the present invention with double blocking pins.
The enclose figures show a system for connecting and fixing modular elements for shefvings with a plurality of shelves, ladders and furniture in general, mainly consisting of the following modules that may be assemble : -a plurality of shelves of furniture 1 or ladder steps, with a hollow metal, wood or plastic, structure, provided with orthogonal 2 or incline 3 passing- through holes ; -a plurality of hollow uprights 4 provided with orthogonal 2'or inclined 3'housings arranged in their own structure, for the insertion of said shelves 1; -a plurality of pins 5, possibly provided with orthogonal end grasping means 6 for the manoeuvrability thereof, and that may be inserted, through cavity 7 of said uprights 4, into the passing-through holes 2,3 of shelves 1, in turn arranged in housings 2', 3'so as to determine, with their contrast standstill along the internal walls of said cavities 7, a total impossibility of pulling out, thus being also a means for a stable assembling (that may become a disassembling by manual pulling out) by means of said grasping elements 6 which, in a variant, may consist of rings or similar.
Furthermore, as shown in figures 1 and 2, said pins 5 may have orthogonal lateral facets 8,9 for determining the angular insertion therof into the corresponding holes 2,3 and placing transversely said orthogonal grasping means 6 into said cavities 7.
