Abstract:
The present invention efficiently locates a point which is the source of a software fault in an embedded system by using the control-dependency relation and data-dependency relation of a program and the processing frequency of the pro gram. An embedded system having a computer system embedded therein, wherein the embedded system has an analysis unit for analyzing control/data-dependency relations in a source code corresponding to the program executed in the em bedded system, a log acquisition unit for acquiring a program execution frequency in accordance with the result of analysis, and a log output unit for outputting information about the control/data-dependency relations and information about the processing result of the program in correlation with each other.
