Abstract:
A system for controlling the soundness of diesel engine fuel is provided with a density measuring instrument (11) for measuring the density of fuel (F) in a diesel engine (D/E) in real time, an MCR measuring instrument (12) for measuring the micro carbon residue (MCR) of the fuel (F) in the diesel engine (D/E) in real time, and a control unit (CPU) (13) for changing the operation mode of the diesel engine when, as the result of acquiring the values of the density and micro carbon residue (MCR) of the fuel (F), the acquired values are beyond the range of soundness in the previously acquired map of characteristics of density and MCR.
