Abstract:
A coupling assembly for a multiple-tube roller shade includes a support assembly for rotatably supporting and connecting adjacently located tube-end portions and a clutch mechanism (60) providing relative rotation therebetween. The support assembly includes a tube-end fitting (38, 40) and a torque-transferring drive transfer member (64, 66) contacting the tube (16). The clutch mechanism includes first and second clutch members (64, 66) respectively engaged and separated in closed and opened positions. A pull rod (92) is translatable within one of the shafts (50) and is moved by a draw pin (94) received in aligned openings (96) of the second clutch member (66), the shaft and the pull rod. The shaft openings (98) are elongated for movement of the second clutch member (66) between the closed and opened positions. An adjustment member (178) threadedly engages the tube-end fitting for vertical adjustment of the fitting with respect to a support panel (176). The tube-end fitting is secured to a bracket structure (20) having elongated openings (222) for horizontal adjustment.
