Claims:
CLAIMS

1. A system (1) for creating a content section of a selected part of at least one digital content selected by a user and sharing the said content, characterized by: at least one mobile device (2) which is configured to realize data exchange by using any remote communication protocol; to run at least one application on it; to have an input unit such as touch screen and a content sharing unit; at least one application (3) which is run on the mobile device (2) and configured to enable at least users to view and/or listen digital contents; at least one database (4) which is configured to keep digital contents and at least one digital content wherein users make change, together with user information; and at least one server (5) which is configured to establish communication with the mobile device (2) by using any remote communication protocol and to realize data exchange with the application (3) being run on the mobile device (2), over this communication established; to present digital contents being kept in the database (4), to the user over the application (3); to start recording the content being presented from the application (3), upon detecting that the user holds down the mobile device (2) screen; to continue recording the content for the duration of time when the user holds down the touch screen and upon the user stops touching the touch screen, to keep the content record created until the period of time when the screen is hold down in the database (4) by terminating the process of content recording; to wait for the user to select a period of the recorded content in order to enable the user to share a certain part of the recorded content as an instant section; and to share the instant content section of the selected period with remote servers.

2. A system (1) according to Claim 1; characterized by the mobile device (2) which is configured to be in communication with the server (5) such that it

8 will realize data exchange by using any communication protocol in the state of the art.

3. A system (1) according to Claim 1 or 2; characterized by the mobile device (2) which is configured to get service from a mobile network operator by means of a SIM card it has.

4. A system (1) according to any of the preceding claims; characterized by the mobile device (2) which is configured to realize data exchange by using a wireless data bus such as Internet.

A system (1) according to any of the preceding claims; characterized by the mobile device (2) which is an electronic device such as smartphone, mobile phone, tablet computer or laptop configured to run at least one application (3) on it; to share the digital content run on the application (3), with the user over a screen visually; and to have a touch screen used by the user as an input unit.

6. A system (1) according to any of the preceding claims; characterized by the application (3) which is configured to be run on the mobile device (2) and to share at least one digital content kept in the database (4), with the mobile device (2) user on a screen together with a visual content.

7. A system (1) according to any of the preceding claims; characterized by the application (3) which is configured to enable at least users to view and/or listen digital contents.

8. A system (1) according to any of the preceding claims; characterized by the application (3) which is a video streaming application and configured to present an interface whereby users select a video content from at least one existing list or via searching by name.

9. A system (1) according to any of the preceding claims; characterized by the application (3) which is configured to enable at least users to view, listen a broadcast -that is a video content- and to ensure that a given period of the broadcast content is recorded.

A system (1) according to any of the preceding claims; characterized by the application (3) which is configured to ensure that it is started to record the content of hold down information, upon the mobile device (2) user starts holding down his/her finger on the touch screen and to share the information about giving up to hold down the touch screen with the server (5) in order to ensure that the recording process is terminated.

A system (1) according to any of the preceding claims; characterized by the application (3) which is configured to share the information about time when the screen is hold down in order to determine the part of the presented digital content that is aimed to be recorded, with the server (5) over the mobile device (2).

A system (1) according to any of the preceding claims; characterized by the mobile application (3) which is configured to ensure that a predetermined period of the content that is recorded by a user demand, is shared with external servers and to get in contact with the user over an interface in order to decide which part of the recorded content will be the said period to be determined.

13. A system (1) according to any of the preceding claims; characterized by the database (4) which is configured to be in communication with the server (5) so as to realize data exchange with it, and to be managed by the server (5).

14. A system (1) according to any of the preceding claims; characterized by the database (4) which is configured to record a part determined by a user, to record a section up to a maximum predetermined period of time on a determined

10 part and to ensure that it is shared with a user and other users over the server (5) on demand.

A system (1) according to any of the preceding claims; characterized by the server (5) which is configured to establish communication with the mobile device (2) by using any remote communication protocol included in the state of the art and to realize data exchange with the application (3) being run on the mobile device (2), over this communication established.

A system (1) according to any of the preceding claims; characterized by the server (5) which is configured to check whether a user demand is received from the application (3) or not in order to ensure that a certain period of the content -that is shared with the user in the application (3)- is recorded; to start recording the content upon a user demand is received and to create a new content by continuing to record the content during the course of user demand and to record it in the database (4).

A system (1) according to any of the preceding claims; characterized by the server (5) which is configured to present a new content obtained to the user over the application (3) interface; to ensure that a section is created in the content that has been recorded up to a maximum predetermined period of time by means of selections and/or inputs realized by the user and it is decided which part of the content will be the section.

18. A system (1) according to any of the preceding claims; characterized by the server (5) which is configured to share the video section it creates by the commands received from the user, with other applications over external servers instantly.

Description:
A SYSTEM FOR CREATING AND SHARING A DIGITAL CONTENT SECTION

Technical Field

The present invention relates to a system for creating a video section of a content which is viewed by a user in online digital content applications wherein view of content is provided by means of at least video stream by being run on electronic devices, and for sharing the said section in another online digital content applications.

Background of the Invention

Today, number of mobile devices such as smart phone, tablet computer and applications which are run on these mobile devices increase. A plurality of different applications are run on mobile devices and users of mobile device spend a considerable amount of their time by such applications during the day. Messaging applications, social media applications and digital content providing applications are the leading ones in these applications. Digital content providers who provide contents such as music, video aim to become attractive and preferred by offering different features to their users. Users can share their lists with each other in digital content applications. Thereby, digital content applications can also be used as a social media application at some point. Different features added to digital content applications appeal to users, increase the number of use and prolong the lifetime of the application. On the other hand, users can also upload contents which they form besides the application and play by means of features such as period of run/play and then share these with other users. However, they make such changes by means of different computer programs externally, not on the application. Therefore, today there is need for an application solution whereby users can make changes on contents such as video or music in digital content applications and which overcomes problems experienced in the state of the art, by sharing only the selected parts of the contents, not all of the contents.

The United States patent document no. US8132103 discloses a method for determining and selecting audio or video content from multimedia files. Steps of determining rules of creating and presenting short sections from video contents such as movies and series, and adding these to video contents; searching a document or multimedia content wherein a movie or series reference or line being searched by the user is used, on the Internet; determining the line mentioned in the related reference; determining the part wherein the line in the movie or series episode is included, from the video content; creating a short section comprising the related line according to rules of creating and presenting short section and presenting it to a user are carried out in the method included in the said invention. In the said invention, short section videos created for the most searched lines can be presented to the user within an interface upon being ordered according to frequencies of search. In the current invention, a lined being searched by a user is found out over markers within the video content; start of the short section is backspaced up to the point wherein the sentence where the related line is included starts or the point wherein the related scene starts; end of the short section is inserted at the end of the sentence or the scene wherein the related line is included; video between the start and end of the short section is copied and then presented to the user upon being turned into a short section video form. Starting and end points of the short section video can be edited by the user.

Summary of the Invention

An objective of the present invention is to realize a system for creating instant short content section of a content which is viewed in applications enabling to view contents by means of video stream in mobile devices, and sharing it on other applications. Another objective of the present invention is to realize a system for creating a related video section by recording a video stream until the period of time which starts by tapping the screen and ends by releasing it via the touchscreen characteristic of the mobile device.

Detailed Description of the Invention

“A System for Creating and Sharing a Digital Content Section” realized to fulfil the objectives of the present invention is shown in the figure attached, in which:

Figure 1 is a schematic view of the inventive system for creating and sharing a digital content section.

The components illustrated in the figure are individually numbered, where the numbers refer to the following:

The inventive system (1) for creating a content section of a selected part of at least one digital content selected by a user and sharing the said content comprises: at least one mobile device (2) which is configured to realize data exchange by using any remote communication protocol; to run at least one application on it; to have an input unit such as touch screen and a content sharing unit; at least one application (3) which is run on the mobile device (2) and configured to enable at least users to view and/or listen digital contents; at least one database (4) which is configured to keep digital contents and at least one digital content wherein users make change, together with user information; and at least one server (5) which is configured to establish communication with the mobile device (2) by using any remote communication protocol and to realize data exchange with the application (3) being run on the mobile device (2), over this communication established; to present digital contents being kept in the database (4), to the user over the application (3); to start recording the content being presented from the application (3), upon detecting that the user holds down the mobile device (2) screen; to continue recording the content for the duration of time when the user holds down the touch screen and upon the user stops touching the touch screen, to keep the content record created until the period of time when the screen is hold down in the database (4) by terminating the process of content recording; to wait for the user to select a period of the recorded content in order to enable the user to share a certain part of the recorded content as an instant section; and to share the instant content section of the selected period with remote servers.

The mobile device (2) included in the inventive system (1) is configured to be in communication with the server (5) such that it will realize data exchange by using any communication protocol in the state of the art. In a preferred embodiment, the mobile device (2) is configured to get service from a mobile network operator by means of a SIM card it has. In another embodiment of the invention, the mobile device (2) is configured to realize data exchange by using a wireless data bus such as Internet. The mobile device (2) is an electronic device such as smartphone, mobile phone, tablet computer or laptop configured to run at least one application (3) on it; to share the digital content run on the application (3), with the user over a screen visually; and to have a touch screen used by the user as an input unit. In the inventive system (1), the application (3) is configured to be run on the mobile device (2) and to share at least one digital content kept in the database (4), with the mobile device (2) user on a screen together with a visual content. The application (3) is configured to enable at least users to view and/or listen digital contents. In the inventive system (1), the application (3) is a video streaming application and configured to present an interface whereby users select a video content from at least one existing list or via searching by name. The application (3) is configured to play a video content selected upon triggering of the user and to share it with the user.

In the inventive system (1), the application (3) is configured to enable at least users to view, listen a broadcast -that is a video content- and to ensure that a given period of the broadcast content is recorded. The application (3) is configured to ensure that it is started to record the content of hold down information, upon the mobile device (2) user starts holding down his/her finger on the touch screen and to share the information about giving up to hold down the touch screen with the server (5) in order to ensure that the recording process is terminated. The application (3) is configured to share the information about time when the screen is hold down in order to determine the part of the presented digital content that is aimed to be recorded, with the server (5) over the mobile device (2). Thus, the server (5) records a content information -time information of which is recreated by the user- in the database (4). The application (3) is configured to ensure that a predetermined period of the content that is recorded by a user demand, is shared with external servers and to get in contact with the user over an interface in order to decide which part of the recorded content will be the said period to be determined. Thereby, the server (5) shares a part included in the content selected by the user, with other applications over external servers.

In the inventive system (1), the database (4) is configured to be in communication with the server (5) so as to realize data exchange with it, and to be managed by the server (5). The database (4) is configured to keep the digital content shared in the mobile device (2) over the application (3). In a preferred embodiment, the database (4) is configured to record a part determined by a user, to record a section up to a maximum predetermined period of time on a determined part and to ensure that it is shared with a user and other users over the server (5) on demand.

In the inventive system (1), the server (5) is configured to establish communication with the mobile device (2) by using any remote communication protocol included in the state of the art and to realize data exchange with the application (3) being run on the mobile device (2), over this communication established. The server (5) is configured to check whether a user demand is received from the application (3) or not in order to ensure that a certain period of the content -that is shared with the user in the application (3)- is recorded; to start recording the content upon a user demand is received and to create a new content by continuing to record the content during the course of user demand and to record it in the database (4). The server (5) is configured to present a new content obtained to the user over the application (3) interface; to ensure that a section is created in the content that has been recorded up to a maximum predetermined period of time by means of selections and/or inputs realized by the user and it is decided which part of the content will be the section. The server (5) is configured to share the video section it creates by the commands received from the user, with other applications over external servers instantly.

In the inventive system (1), the server (5) is configured to collect a video content to be shared such that ts files among periods -which are determined by using a video on demand (VOD) .ts files- are among the ones in desired periods; and to record these in the database (4) in a desired extension. The server (5) is configured to perform recording of desired fields on the system by NPVR at first due to the fact that a desired broadcast is received externally in the event that the video content to be shared is LTV (Live TV and program); and then to delete the video product that is recorded over the NPVR (network personal video recorder) system after the sharing is carried out. The server (5) is configured to ensure that integrations such as writings which follow specific areas, paste attachments, manipulating the audio and the image in a video product to be shared, and etc. are carried out.

In the inventive system (1), the mobile device (2) users watch video over the application (3) on their screen and record a certain part of the said video by holding down the screen. The server (5) records a content in the database (4) up to the period of time when the user holds down the screen. The user can create a section in the database (4) up to the period of time allowed by the server (5) on the recorded content. Thus, the mobile device (2) user may not share a section in a part that s/he requests while watching a video broadcast, with other users.

Within these basic concepts; it is possible to develop various embodiments of the inventive system for creating and sharing a digital content section (1); the invention cannot be limited to examples disclosed herein and it is essentially according to claims.
