Abstract:
A system desk, wherein, in order to assure the concentration to and excellent interaction with an operation from a person (worker) sitting in front of a desk top board and allow an environment for the operation and interaction to be changed rapidly, a downwardly opening guide rail (21) of arc shape in plan view is installed on the lower surface of the desk top board (2), at a portion near the outer peripheral edge part, having an outer peripheral edge (2a) of generally semi-circular shape in plan view supported by leg bodies (4) with casters (5), rotating rollers (18) attached to an arm (13) projected from the column (7) of a service station (3) disposed on the outside of the outer peripheral edge is fitted to the guide rail (6), and the desk top board (2) is connected to the service station (3) so as to be movably guided relative to the service station in the form of arc shape in plan view, whereby the rotating center (O) of the desk top board (2) is positioned near the recessed edge part (2b) of the inner diameter part thereof, and the person sitting near the rotating center can face the service station (3) by changing the horizontal rotating position of the desk top board (2) and interact with the others at a position where the interaction is not obstructed by the desk top board by moving the board sideways.
