Abstract:
When a contact or a collision occurs between moving objects, an object came into contact or collided with another are specified along with portions where the contact or the collision occurred. Two electrodes constructed from thin conductors are laid spaced apart a small distance on the surface of a switch substrate made of an insulator. When two switch substrates come into contact or collide with each other, the electrodes of one switch substrate short-circuits the two electrodes of the other switch substrate, and the electrodes of the other switch substrate short-circuits the two electrodes of the one switch substrate. The short circuit is detected electrically and detected information is transmitted, together with information specifying the switch substrates, to a collision judgment device where the two collided switch substrates are specified.
