Abstract:
A system for detecting and displaying performance parameters of a set top box (10) and a method therefor. The set top box (10) comprises a configuration detection module (100), a power detection module (200), an interface detection module (300) and a temperature detection and control module (400). The configuration detection module (100) acquires and stores basic configuration information about the set top box (10) in real time, and transmits, according to a configuration display instruction, data of the configuration information to a display screen (20) for display; the power detection module (200) detects the high and low level of a power flag bit of each power module in real time, and determines whether the corresponding power module is normal, and prompts the user on the display screen (20) when the corresponding power module is determined to be abnormal; the interface detection module (300) detects an operating state of each interface, and displays state information, parameters and an abnormality prompt of the interface according to an interface display instruction; and the temperature detection and control module (400) acquires the temperature of a chip and determines whether the temperature has exceeded a set temperature, and conducts standby processing if the temperature has exceeded a set temperature. There is a wider detection range, prompting or autonomous processing can be performed when there is a fault, thereby solving the problems that the existing set top box has less detection range and cannot perform detection during operation and make a fault prompt.
