Abstract:
This system (2) for detecting the distance between an automotive vehicle (4) and a target (6) comprises an imaging sensor (16) and a programmer (14). The automotive vehicle (4) comprises at least one light pulse source (12) able to emit periodic light pulses at a pulse frequency (F1) and which are intended to be reflected by at least one reflector (26) of the target (6), each pulse being emitted during an emission interval, the programmer being programmed so that the imaging sensor integrates, for each pulse: - a first image during a first integration interval in which the emission interval is included, and - a second image during a second integration interval distinct from the emission interval.
