Abstract:
The present invention provides a system capable of achieving more flexible motion matching. A system according to one embodiment of the present invention determines a motion sequence of a virtual object, the system comprising: a motion database that stores each of a plurality of motion sequences in association with a plurality of types of subfeatures, wherein each of the plurality of types of subfeatures associated with one motion sequence is a feature associated with that motion sequence; a subfeature extraction section that extracts subfeatures of a predetermined type from features associated with a virtual object; and a motion sequence determination section that determines one motion sequence from the motion database by comparing each of the subfeatures of a predetermined type extracted by the subfeature extraction section with each of the subfeatures of the predetermined type in each motion sequence stored in the motion database.
