Abstract:
The invention relates to the field of measuring technology and can be used in the production of an up-to-date automated diagnostic system for monitoring pairs of wheels of rolling stock during the movement of said pairs of wheels along a railway in real time. What is claimed is: a system for diagnostic monitoring of pairs of wheels of rolling stock, the system comprising optical units for measuring the position of wheel internal surfaces and external surfaces arranged on the outside of and/or on the inside of a rail track, and also one or more sensors of the position of the pair of wheels relative to the rail track, wherein outputs of all of the optical units and sensors of the position of the pair of wheels are connected to a computer. What is novel is the fact that each of the optical units and sensors of the position of the pair of wheels is in the form of an autonomous microprocessor module which is connected via an internal information busbar to a common local computer, the output of which is connected via a common information busbar to a railway data transmission network.
