Abstract:
Provided are a system for discharge gas treatment and a method for discharge gas treatment. The system for discharge gas treatment is equipped with: a flue through which the gas discharged from a combustor for burning a fuel flows; a heat exchanger disposed in the flue; a limestone feeder for removing SO3 from the discharge gas, the feeder supplying CaCO3 to the discharge gas that flows upstream from the heat exchanger; an upstream-side SO3 measuring device for measuring the concentration of SO3 in the discharge gas that flows upstream from a position where the limestone feeder for removing SO3 from the discharge gas supplies CaCO3; and a controller that determines the amount of the CaCO3 to be supplied, on the basis of a relationship between the SO3 amount measured by the upstream-side SO3 measuring device and the molar ratio of SO3 to CaCO3, and that makes the limestone feeder, which is for removing SO3 from the discharge gas, supply CaCO3 to the flue in the determined amount.
