Title:
SYSTEM FOR ELECTRICALLY CONNECTING AND FIXING AT LEAST ONE CONDUCTOR TO A SUPPORT PIECE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO2004084350
Kind Code:
A3
Abstract:
The invention relates to a system in which the support piece (2) comprises a stud (3) which is designed to be engaged in a hole (4) in the conductor (1) and to co-operate with a hold-down nut (5) for clamping the conductor to said support piece. The invention is characterised in that an electrically-conductive ring spacer (6) is associated with the conductor (1) on the side thereof facing the support piece (2). The invention is also characterised in that a ring (7) is disposed on the opposite side of the conductor. Moreover, the ring (7) comprises floating means (7a, 7b) for fixing to the spacer (6), which are designed to extend through the aforementioned hole (4) in the conductor. The invention is further characterised in that the above-mentioned nut (5) is associated with the ring (7) using fixing means (5a, 5b) which enable the nut (5) to rotate in relation to the ring (7) and to move axially in relation to same along a determined length of travel, between a mounting position at a distance from the ring and a clamping position in which the nut rests against said ring, in order to facilitate the positioning of the conductor (1) and the clamping of same against the support piece (2).
