Abstract:
To enhance the accuracy and reliability in evaluating performances of work elements, extended earned value management (EEVM) integrates bills of quantities (BOQ) introducing a fourth component to the analytics of standard EVM, earned value based on BOQ items. Provided is a computerized system for EEVM, comprising EEVM method and EEVM process which are designed to be applied to any real project, wherein, following EEVM process, the work breakdown structure of a project is organized, works packages are planned, BOQ items receive their cost in various ways, performances are periodically evaluated incorporating any change, and wherein special devices of EEVM method are applied throughout the process.
