Abstract:
The present invention provides a system for extracting light olefins through hydrocarbon purification and a method for extracting light olefins by using same, the system comprising a pressure circulation adsorption device for forming an olefin stream and a raffinate stream by the introduction of a hydrocarbon feed at one side thereof, wherein the pressure circulation adsorption device is filled with a metal-organic structure, and thus olefins are selectively adsorbed so that an olefin stream is formed. Therefore, since the selectivity for olefins over paraffins is increased by the introduction of a hydrocarbon feed, propylene, which is a light olefin, can be very effectively separated and recovered.
