Abstract:

The present invention relates to an electronic payment system using fingerprint and finger vein recognition, which is embedded in an edge of a smartphone, the system comprising a payment service server for payment processing through a payment means corresponding to first fingerprint and finger vein information, wherein: an authentication unit space (2500) having a narrow top and wide bottom shape is formed at the lower edge of a smartphone body side part (2400) so as to receive a fingerprint and finger vein authentication unit (2100) for acquiring fingerprint and finger vein information; a fingerprint recognition module (2310) is disposed on the upper side of the body side part (2400), and an empty space is disposed on the lower side thereof so as to allow a user to put his/her finger (f) thereon; and an image sensor (2510a) and an infrared transmitter unit (2520a) facing the finger (f) so as to photograph the same, and a recognition circuit electronic unit for controlling the image sensor (2510a) and the infrared transmitter unit (2520a) are disposed in the authentication unit space (2500).
