Abstract:
Disclosed is a system for generating electrical energy, the system (1) comprising: a starter ( 10) for providing an initial electrical trigger; a gearbox (20) being connected to the starter (10) and a generator (30), the gearbox (20) is configured to receive the electrical trigger from the starter (10) to generate mechanical energy through rotational motion; the generator (30) configured for receiving mechanical energy from the gearbox (20) and converting the mechanical energy into electrical energy; an energy saving transformer (40) being connected to the generator (30), the energy saving transformer (40) is configured to receive the electrical energy from the generator (30) and to hold the electrical energy for predefined period; and an electrical motor (50) to receive the electrical energy from the energy saving transformer (40) and convert the electrical energy into mechanical energy, the motor (50) being connected between the energy saving transformer (40) and the gearbox (20); wherein the gearbox (20) is configured to take the electrical trigger from the starter (10) for initial operation of the gearbox and the starter is made off once the gearbox start generating rotational motion, the motor (50) configured to provide the mechanical energy to the gearbox (20) for latter operation of the gearbox, the gearbox (20) includes a pair of two sprockets (21, 21', 22, 22') in which one sprocket (21, 21') has larger diameter than another sprocket (22, 22'), the two sprockets (21, 22 & 21', 22') of each pair are connected through a chain (23, 23'), the sprockets (21, 21') having larger diameter are mounted on first shaft (24) and the sprockets (22, 22') having smaller diameter are mounted on second shaft (25), the second shaft (25) includes predefined weights (26, 26') at the ends of the second shaft.

I Claim

1. A system for generating electrical energy, the system comprising: ' a starter for providing an initial electrical trigger; a gearbox being connected to the starter and a generator, the gearbox is configured to receive the electrical trigger from the starter to generate mechanical energy through rotational motion; the generator configured for receiving mechanical energy from the gearbox and converting the mechanical energy into electrical energy; an energy saving transformer being connected to the generator, the energy saving transformer is configured to receive the electrical energy from the generator and to hold the electrical energy for predefined period; and an electrical motor to receive the electrical energy from the energy saving transformer and convert the electrical energy into mechanical energy, the motor being connected between the energy saving transformer and the gearbox; wherein the gearbox is configured to take the electrical trigger from the starter for initial operation of the gearbox and the starter is made off once the gearbox start generating rotational motion, the motor configured to provide the mechanical energy to the gearbox for latter operation of the gearbox, the gearbox includes a pair of two sprockets in which one sprocket has larger diameter than another sprocket, the two sprockets of each pair are connected through a chain, the sprockets having larger diameter are mounted on first shaft and the sprockets having smaller diameter are mounted on second shaft, the second shaft includes predefined weights at the ends of the second shaft.

2. The system for generating electrical energy as claimed in claim 1 wherein the weights attached to the ends of second shaft depend upon quantity of the electrical energy to be generated.

3. The system for generating electrical energy as claimed in claim 1 wherein the weights attached to the ends of second shaft are disk shaped and removably fitted on the second shaft.

4. The system for generating electrical energy as claimed in claim 1

. wherein the gearbox generates rotational motion through the pair of two sprockets and the predefined weights attached at the ends of the second shaft.

5. The system for generating electrical energy as claimed in claim 1 further comprising energy storage device being connected to the generator for storing the electrical energy generated by the generator.

Description:
TITLE OF INVENTION: A System for Generating Electrical Energy

Field of the Invention:

The present invention relates to the field of power generation. More particularly it relates to system for generating electrical energy using high speed gearbox. Even more particularly it relates continuous generation of further energy using previously generated energy.

Prior Art:

Electricity is now an integral part of our lifestyle. Take it away and most of the things we are used to would change dramatically. Scientists from many fields of study including chemistry, geology, physics and biology are working to support the technology behind electricity generation using both renewable and non-renewable resources.

Electrical energy is produced from many different energy sources. Some of these energy sources are renewable and others are non-renewable. Some of them use natural resources like wind energy, solar energy, wave energy and like for generating electrical energy. Whereas some of them utilizes mechanical means to generate electrical energy. However these mechanisms suffered from at least one of the following deficiencies: i. These mechanisms are dependent on the natural resources which vary according to climate.

ii. These mechanisms are complex and expensive.

Hence still there is a need to develop new kind of the mechanism for power generation which can take care of aforementioned deficiencies. Object of the Invention:

The main object of the present invention is to provide system for generating electrical energy using high speed gearbox which can obviates all the issues relating to conventional power generation mechanisms.

Another object of the invention is to provide the system for generating electrical energy which generates electrical energy in an efficient and economic manner.

Yet another object of the invention is to provide the system for generating electrical energy which is reliable.

Yet another object of the invention is to provide the system for generating electrical energy which works on the principal of regeneration of the energy using previously generated energy.

Summary of the Invention:

Accordingly to achieve the foregoing objectives, the present invention provides a system for generating electrical energy, the system comprising: a starter for providing an initial electrical trigger; a gearbox being connected to the starter and a generator, the gearbox is configured to receive the electrical trigger from the starter to generate mechanical energy through rotational motion; the generator configured for receiving mechanical energy from the gearbox and converting the mechanical energy into electrical energy; an energy saving transformer being connected to the generator, the energy saving transformer is configured to receive the electrical energy from the generator and to hold the electrical energy for predefined period; and an electrical motor to receive the electrical energy from the energy saving transformer and convert the electrical energy into mechanical energy, the motor being connected between the energy saving transformer and the gearbox; wherein the gearbox is configured to take the electrical trigger from the starter for initial operation of the gearbox and the starter is made off once the gearbox start generating rotational motion, the motor configured to provide the mechanical energy to the gearbox for latter operation of the gearbox, the gearbox includes a pair of two sprockets in which one sprocket has larger diameter than another sprocket, the two sprockets of each pair are connected through a chain, the sprockets having larger diameter are mounted on first shaft and the sprockets having smaller diameter are mounted on second shaft, the second shaft includes predefined weights at the ends of the second shaft.

Detailed description of the drawings:

Referring to figures 1 and 2, the system for generating electrical energy in accordance to present invention is illustrated. The system (1) includes starter ( 10), gearbox (20), generator (30), energy saving transformer (40) and motor (50).

The starter ( 10) provides an initial electrical trigger to the gearbox (20). The gearbox (20) is connected to the starter (10) and the generator (30). The gearbox (20) receives the electrical trigger from the starter (10) to generate mechanical energy through rotational motion. The starter (10) is connected to gearbox (20) through sprocket (1 1) and sprocket assembly (29) provided with gearbox (20).

The generator (30) receives mechanical energy from the gearbox (20) and converts the mechanical energy into electrical energy. The energy saving transformer (40) (not shown in figure 2 to avoid complexity ) is connected to the generator (30) and motor (50). The energy saving transformer (40) receives the electrical energy from the generator (30) and holds the electrical energy for predefined period. The generator (30) is connected to the gearbox (20) through sprockets (61 , 62) having different diameters and chain (63).

The electrical motor (50) which is AC motor receives the electrical energy from the energy saving transformer (40) and converts the electrical energy into mechanical energy. The motor (50) is connected between the energy saving transformer (40) and the gearbox (20). The motor (50) is configured to provide the mechanical energy to the gearbox (20) for latter operation of the gearbox. The motor (50) is connected to the gearbox (20) through plurality of sprockets (71 , 72, 81 , 82, 91 , 92) having different diameters, chains (73, 83, 93) and shaft (24) as illustrated in figure 2.

The gearbox (20) is configured to take the electrical trigger from the starter for initial operation of the gearbox and the starter ( 10) is made off once the gearbox start generating rotational motion. The gearbox (20) includes a pair of two sprockets (21 , 2 , 22, 22^ in which one sprocket (2 1 , 21 has larger diameter than another sprocket (22, 22'). The two sprockets (21 , 22 & 21 ', 22') of each pair are connected through a chain (23, 23') . The sprockets (21 , 2 ) having larger diameter are mounted on shaft (24) and the sprockets (22, 22') having smaller diameter are mounted on shaft (25) . The shafts (24, 25) are mounted on a frame (27) using bearings (28, 28', 28", 28"'). Two predefined weights (26, 26') are attached at the ends of the shaft (25). The weights (26, 26') attached to the ends of shaft (25) depend upon quantity of the electrical energy to be generated. The weights (26, 26') are preferably in the disk shape and removably fixed on the shaft (25) . The gearbox (20) generates rotational motion through the pair of two sprockets (21 , 2 , 22, 22') and the predefined weights (26, 26') attached at the ends of the shaft (25) .

The system further includes energy storage device (60) connected to the generator (30) for storing the electrical energy generated by the generator.

Dimensions of the sprockets, frame, chains, shafts, bearings, weights used in the invention depends upon quantity of electricity to be generated. Working of the present invention:

The starter (10) provides an initial electrical trigger to the gearbox (20). The gearbox (20) receives the electrical trigger from the starter ( 10) to generate mechanical energy through rotational motion generated through the pair of two sprockets (21 , 2 , 22, 22') and the predefined weights (26, 26') attached at the ends of the shaft (25). The generator (30) receives mechanical energy from the gearbox (20) and converts the mechanical energy into electrical energy. The energy saving transformer (40) receives the electrical energy from the generator (30) and holds the electrical energy for predefined period. The electrical motor (50) receives the electrical energy from the energy saving transformer (40) and converts the electrical energy into mechanical energy. The motor (50) provides the mechanical energy to the gearbox (20) for latter operation of the gearbox. Hence the cycle of abovementioned activities repeat to generate electrical energy.

As per one of the embodiments of the invention, the gearbox (20) run up to 1500RPM speed and pass the current to the generator (30). The gearbox (20) will run continuously upto 5 minutes. From this 5 minutes it will take 30 seconds to start motor (50) through energy saving transformer (40) connected to the generator (30). The energy saving transformer (40) can save electricity upto 5 minutes and pass the current to the motor (50). Finally motor (50) pass the energy to gearbox (20) for further operation without help of any starter trigger.

According to an embodiment of the invention, dimensions of the various parts of the system are as follows:

i. Bearings : 40-90mm

ii. Diameter of sprockets (21 , 2 ): Ten inch

iii. Diameter of sprockets (22, 22'): 3.5 inch iv. Weights (26, 26') in the form of disks with 2.5 inch thickness and 18 inch diameter: 90kg each

v. Diameter of sprocket (71): 6 inch

vi. Diameter of sprocket (72): 4 inch

vii. Diameter of sprocket (81): 8 inch

viii. Diameter of sprocket (82): 12 inch

ix. Diameter of sprocket (91): 7 inch

x. Diameter of sprocket (92): 13 inch

xi. Diameter of sprocket (61): 4.5 inch

xii. Diameter of sprocket (62): 10 inch

xiii. Chains: Double group chain/ double runner mover

While various embodiments of the present invention have been described above, it should be understood that they have been presented by way of example only, and not limitation. It will be understood by those skilled in the relevant art that various changes in form and details may be made therein without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention.
