Abstract:
A system for generating probe traffic information is provided with a terminal device that collects position information, and a server that generates probe traffic information based on the information collected from the terminal device, and is characterized in that: the terminal device, in response to the provision of an application program for collecting the position information, collects the position information in accordance with the provided application program; the probe traffic information generation system identifies a mobile means of the terminal device; and the server generates the probe traffic information from the collected position information by using a result of identification of the mobile means.
