Abstract:

A first server provided with a control unit for transmitting web content data that includes at least display information including at least regional information and indicating an application usable by an apparatus that corresponds to the regional information and an application command for making the apparatus execute a process pertaining to the application from the apparatus, to the apparatus in accordance with a request from the apparatus. The apparatus is provided with: a web browser including a display control unit for transmitting a request for display information that includes at least the regional information and that requests display information and exercising control for making a display unit display a screen based on the web content data received from the first server, and an execution unit for executing the application command included in the web content data in accordance with a user's operation via the screen and thereby requesting the apparatus to execute a process pertaining to an application that corresponds to the application command; and a process execution unit for executing the process pertaining to the application on the basis of the request from the web browser.
